For some reason, audiences empathize easily with burglars, thieves and bankrobbers. To come up with a waterproof masterplan, steal from a large, (preferably corporate) anonymous organization, get away with it and spend your days in the sun endlessly is something that appeals to many of us. Bank robbery is something we apparently do not feel sorry for or bad about. Filmmakers and writers alike have known this; just look at the long list of classic heist movies: 'Oceans 11', 'The Thomas Crown Affair', 'The Italian Job', and more recently 'Inception'.

This list features the most thrilling, fun and interesting heist movies that came out recently. Enjoy!
