Synopsis
Also known as Beware of Children, the movie centers on Lykke, the daughter of a politician, who has accidentally beaten her classmate Jamie to death. Her classmate is also a son of a politician. What makes the situation complicated is the school principal has a secret affair with Jamie’s father. To make things even more interesting Lykke’s teacher is the brother of the principal who felt guilty not preventing the incident. Like water surrounding an undertow, the film shows how the community relates to the incident and the aftermath. How could it have happened - and how is it possible to move on afterwards? Barn is directed by Dag Johan Haugerud and was released on Sep 13th, 2019.
