Synopsis
The film is a sequel to the 2018 film May the Devil Take You and directed by Timo Tjahjanto. The story centers on a loner named Alfie who is trying to get to know her estranged father by going to his villa. With her half-sister Maya, they are embarking on a journey that is fraught with violence and insanity as they slowly but surely get to the truth about their father. The movie clearly has the influence of Hollywood director Sam Raimi whose films provided the inspiration.The film shows how the devil can dwell within people in order for them to commit unspeakable acts.
