Annihilation

Alex Garland knows how to write a proper sci-fi movie. So much he proved with ‘Sunshine’, which was directed by Danny Boyle. Garlands’ directorial debut ‘Ex-Machina’ proved his talent once more. ‘Annihilation’ is his most ambitious project to date. Dealing with four female scientists on a trippy expedition in some sort of dome where the rules of nature do not apply, this movie might not be without its flaws. As the movie progressed, I started to understand less and less, but I became more intrigued by the minute.
