Top 10 most beautiful films – Visually stunning films of 2010-2019

The 13 most visually stunning films of 2010-2014

My top 10 of most beautiful films of 2010 to 2014 is arranged in no particular order. They are all impressive in their own way. First a number of visually impressive films that did not make the cut: The GrandmasterOnly Lovers Left Alive, Upstream Color, 12 Years a Slave, Anna Karenina, To The Wonder, Pacific Rim, Holy Motors, A Touch of Sin, Like Someone in Love (sorry, no Asian films made it on this list, except arguably for Stoker!). The new 2015 films will be added above during the year.

Interstellar (2014)

Cinematography by Hoyte van Hoytema

Directed by Christopher Nolan

One of the most anticipated films of the year is about to be released, Nolan’s Interstellar. No doubt it will be a visual fest, as sci-fi films lend themselves perfectly for extravagant and spectacular photography. Next to promising cinematography by Van Hoytema, we can also enjoy Matthew McConaughey who lately has been a delight to watch. Interstellar has a worldwide instant release on 6 November 2014.
