Perhaps this is the one we are looking forward to the most. Martin Scorsese’s films are always something to be excited about, but this is his passion project and he has been working on it for decades now. It is based on a famous old book, and it’s about two priests who when they travel to Japan to propagate Christianity in the seventeenth century face grave violence and persecution. It will hit theaters in the beginning of January.
