Guy Ritchie now makes big budget blockbusters like Sherlock Holmes, but many of his fans love him for his amazing British gangster movies like Snatch, RocknRolla etc. However, the first film that was to be the blueprint for all the other ones was Lock, Stock and Two smoking barrels. Which was made for a surprising 1.35 million dollar. It ended up making about 23 million dollars. His next movies made a hell of a lot more money, so it was a great first move.
