After a couple of dozens of Marvel adaptations, you think you’ve seen it all. Can a superhero movie or TV show still be groundbreaking, or at least surprising? Well yes. Written by the guy who created the wonderful Fargo series, Legion is a stunning show. Being compared with both Stanley Kubrick’s and Wes Anderson’s work, it looks like a million bucks as well. The series tells the origin story of X-men David Haller, a schizophrenic man who has spent his time in many insane asylums. Slowly, it becomes clear that his mental disability might actually be an extremely powerful and, possibly dangerous. Legion is a visually overwhelming, intelligently written and often funny super hero TV show.
