Synopsis
Andrew Fried, the famed director of Chef's Table and & 7 Days Out series, presented We Are Freestyle Love Supreme at the Sundance Film festival on January 28, 2020. It was produced by Andrew Fried (Boardwalk Pictures), Sarina Roma, Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jill Furman, Jon Steingart, and Jenny Steingart. Original group members Lin-Manuel Miranda, Thomas Kail, Anthony Veneziale, Christopher Jackson, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Chris Sullivan star in the documentary. The documentary was filmed over the course of 15 years, and it features the technical expertise of cinematographer Bryant Fisher and film editors Brian Anton and Peter Curtis.
