Synopsis
Director Dees Rees, a Sundance Institute Vanguard Award winner, presented The Last Thing He Wanted at the Sundance Film Festival on the 27th of January. Rees co-wrote the screenplay, which was based on Joan Didion's novel, with Marco Villalobos. The cast is led by award-winning performers Anne Hathaway, Ben Affleck, and Willem Defoe.
