Synopsis
Josh Boone directs the action thriller, The New Mutants, a production he collaborated and co-wrote with Knate Lee. It is part of the X-Men film series but has a darker feel to it. The New Mutants is a horror film with superhero characters. Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga lead the cast. 20th Century Studios, Marvel Entertainment, Genre Films, Sunswept Entertainment, and TSG Entertainment produced the film, with 20th Century Studios taking on the film’s distribution. It is set to hit US theaters on April 3, 2020. Boone intimated that fans may expect sequels in the future. The New Mutants is directed by Josh Boone and was released on Aug 28th, 2020.
