Synopsis
This film from the Czech Republic is about a young pair who meets a radical family community while working abroad and gets lost in the new world presented to them. The film is directed by Michal Hogenauer and stars Eliska Krenkova, Monic Hendrickx and Roland Fernhour. Inspired by real events, this beautifully composed psychological thriller has some of the creepy horror feeling of The Handmaid's Tale or Rosemary's Baby. Hogenauer gradually builds suspense with such precision without the typical jump scares and dramatic crescendos of more conventional horror movies.
