Marjorie Prime
(United States, directed by Michael Almereyda)
In a not-so distant future, deceased loved-ones return from the dead in the form of a hologram to help cope those who left behind. Sounds like a pretty good starting point for an Black Mirror episode, doesn’t it?. Marjory Prime is an elegant and deceitfully calm movie about the act of forgetting, aging and grief. Mostly taking place in a single apartment, this is the perfect example of clever storytelling.
