A music teacher and talented singer from the countryside meet and fall in love during the first years of the Cold War in Poland. Their relationship is explosive; they can neither live with or without each other. Over a period of almost 20 years, they meet again by fate, are separated as a result of political circumstances, get torn apart again… Cold War is a moving, utterly romantic affair shot in the most beautiful shades of black, grey and white.
