Ten years after art house smash hit Gomorra,  director Garrone once again focusses on the underbelly of Italian society. Dogman evolves around Marcello, a sweet yet somewhat spineless dog groomer getting systematically exploited by local crook Nicole. When Marcello is persuaded to participate in a robbery, things run out of control. A dark, heart-breaking crime drama in the best Italian neo-neorealist fashion.
