Beast

(United Kingdom, directed by Michael Pearce)

In her late twenties, Moll is still living with her overprotective parents. There are hints of a troubled youth, but furthermore, she seems kind of an average young woman. When she starts seeing  Pascal, an adventurous vagabond (her mother most definitely doesn’t approve of), her life is turned upside down. Things get even worse when locals start to suspect Pascal is connected to the recent disappearance of a young girl. A slow-burning, psychological thriller set in a isolated island community.
