‘Without Feathers’ by Woody Allen

Being as prolific as Woody Allen is, it is hard to imagine the guy finds any time to write something he doesn’t turn into a film. Without Feathers from 1975 was Allen second bundle of short stories and it’s absolutely hilarious and wonderfully written. It’s basically the same stuff he puts in all his films; bourgeois complaints, neurosis, New York, love and death.  If Allen would ever write a book in the veins of his ‘serious’ films like Interiors or September, I would be dying to read it.
