Schwartzmann is mainly known through his regular appearances in Wes Anderson films, but lately is getting more and more in demand. Last year he was amazing as a cynic self-centered writer in Listen up Phillip. He also releases music as a solo artist, and his albums have been praised by Pitchfork. He is known as Coconut Records and makes cheerful upbeat indie pop music.
