Synopsis
It’s World War I and a surprise German attack threatens to wipe out an entire regiment of English troops in the trenches of France. The news must be relayed by two soldiers, Lance Corporal William Schofield (George MacKay) and Lance Corporal Tom Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman). The odds are against them as they only have 24 hours to reach the other side of the battlefield, avoiding German troops, landmines, and forces of nature as they traverse dangerous grounds to save lives.
