 Synopsis
After critical acclaim for 'A Fantastic Women', Chilean director Sebastián Lelio returns with his first English-language feature film. Another LGBT story, albeit very different from his previous efforts. 'Disobedience' evolves around a modern Jewish woman (Rachel Weisz) who, upon hearing her father has died, returns to her Orthodox family in London. Once there, she secretly falls in love with an old friend; a woman who is now married to her cousin. Disobedience is directed by Sebastián Lelio and was released on Apr 27th, 2018.
