Lana Wachowski returns to the legendary Matrix saga, delving back into a world where humanity fights against robots that have enslaved them in virtual reality. The familiar character of Neo returns, once more played by Keanu Reeves, to once again become the chosen one who can lead humanity out of the cybernetic haze that once was the simulation and onto a victory against the machines that enslaved them. Other notable names returning to the film include Carrie-Anne Moss reprising Trinity and Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe.
