The Northman

It is the 10th century and Iceland is a place of great royalty and treachery. A Nordic prince is dismayed to hear the news of his father being murdered. Seeking vengeance for such a crime, he sets off on a journey to enact the justice he feels his murderers rightfully deserve. Directed and co-written by Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse), this dark period-piece features a cast that includes Anya Taylor-Joy, Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Ethan Hawke, and Willem Dafoe.
