The Tragedy of Macbeth 

Based on the classic stageplay by William Shakespeare, director Joel Coen (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, Hail, Caesar!) takes an ambitious approach to the material. The story concerns a Scottish lord who is informed by witches that he’ll become the next king of Scotland. But the road to the throne will be a tricky one filled with death and tragedy. The cast includes Denzel Washington Frances McDormand, Brendan Gleeson, Corey Hawkins, Sean Patrick Thomas, Ralph Ineson, and Brian Thompson.
