The North Water

Patrick Sumner is a man trying to pick his life back up after being a disgraced ex-army surgeon looking for a second chance. He finds that chance aboard a ship that sets sail for whaling in the Arctic. Acting as the ship’s doctor, he comes to know the harpooner Henry Drax, bound by brutality in his cruel methods of taking lives. Patrick may have gone looking for redemption but he may find himself struggling to survive when trapped on a ship with a murdering psychopath.
