The Suicide Squad

In between James Gunn working on Guardians of the Galaxy, he managed to reboot Suicide Squad into a bigger, bolder, and far more violent anti-hero ensemble picture. Amanda Waller continues her Task Force X program by sending a team of prisoners and villains to South America for a covert mission. Task Force X is comprised of a few familiar characters like Harley Quinn and Rick Flag but also some new villains such as Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Ratcatcher, and King Shark among others. If the team is successful, they’ll be able to shave some time off their sentences. However, once they discover the secret project is one of stopping an alien threat and instilling US imperialism, the misfits start questioning how committed they are to this mission. The film features a huge ensemble that includes Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Sylvester Stallone, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Peter Capaldi, and many more.
