Synopsis
Bartosz Bielenia leads the cast of Corpus Christi (Polish title: Boze Cialo), a Polish drama directed by Jan Komasa. It started its theatrical run in Poland in October 2019, after its stint at international film festivals like the Venice Film Festival Venice Days, where it won the Europa Cinemas Label Award and the Edipo Re Inclusion Award, and the Toronto International Film Festival. It was also submitted to the 92nd Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film, reaching the shortlist for December. It won several accolades and awards for Bielenia as Best Actor and Komasa as Best Director from other film festivals. Corpus Christi is directed by Jan Komasa and was released on Feb 28th, 2020.
