Untitled Mario Film

One of the most legendary video game characters known around the world will finally be getting his own animated movie in theaters this Christmas. Coming from Illumination Studios (Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets, Sing), this yet-to-be-titled animated Mario film is being developed by Mario’s creator Shigeru Miyamoto. Little is known about the film now but we do know it will be directed by Aaron Horvath (Teen Titans Go To The Movies) and Michael Jelenic (Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold) with an all-star voice cast that will include Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen, Kevin Michael Richardson, Sebastian Maniscalco, and a guest voice by the original Mario voice actor Charles Martinet.
