We are not the biggest fan of this movie, but we have to admit that it is beautifully made. We have put it on the list because we saw the world audience responding to it very well. It has won on Oscar for best Written Music. We especially put it in because we see in James McAvoy a brilliant actor. In our opinion the all-time feel good classic. Every element in this movie is able to bring you in the best of moods. First of all, it is a British christmas film with Hugh Grant. That is one ingredient no romantic film lover will say no to. For the rest it bring the most uplifting music, romantic storylines and brilliant British humor. All of the greatest British rom com actors will pass by. It basically tells the tales of several people all hoping to find love, which apparently can ‘just be around the corner’.

The costume drama the ‘Pride & Prejudice (2005)

A film that is based on such a masterpiece can of course not be missing on a list like this. Jane Austen’s Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet know how to be dramatic when it comes to love. This English romantic movie was also nominated for an impressive 4 Oscars. In our opinion, it really shows the very best of Keira Knightly.
