The Altaic languages are a set of very distantly related Asian languages, most notably Japanese, Korean, Mongolian and Turkish, and some others such as Ainu, Tungus and the Turkic languages of Central Asian, such as Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Tatar, Kazakh and others.

Not all language resources accept the Altaic language as a real language family. Nonetheless, we have gathered some lists of words and meanings for the bigger languages that are proposed to be part of the Altaic family.
